Day 1: Fez – Ifrane – Midelt – Merzouga

Begin your journey with an early departure from Fez, heading towards Marrakech via the majestic Sahara Desert of Merzouga. Along the way, immerse yourself in the rich culture of the Berber communities in southeastern Morocco. The adventure begins with a stop in Ifrane, often called the "Switzerland of Morocco," where you can admire its unique charm. From there, continue to the cedar forests of Azrou, home to playful Barbary monkeys. Take time to feed them and capture memorable photos in this serene setting. Cross the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing through the lush Ziz Valley, renowned for its sprawling palm groves—the second-largest in Morocco, stretching over 150 km. Along the way, enjoy a stop for lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to the iconic Erg Chebbi dunes near the village of Merzouga. Upon arrival at your hotel, refresh with a welcoming cup of mint tea before setting off on a camel trek into the mesmerizing dunes. Witness the silence of the desert and the breathtaking beauty of the sunset from the towering sands. End your day with a traditional dinner and an overnight stay in a Berber tent, nestled at the base of Erg Chebbi's highest dunes.
Day 2: Merzouga – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley – Skoura Oasis – Ouarzazate

Start your day with an early wake-up to experience the magnificent sunrise over the dunes. Watch as the shifting sunlight transforms the colors of the sand—a truly unforgettable moment. Capture this serene beauty with your camera before returning to the hotel by camel, enjoying the tranquil atmosphere of the desert along the way. At the hotel, refresh with a shower and breakfast before embarking on your next journey. Your route takes you through palm groves and oases, with a stop in the charming town of Rissani, known for its vibrant souk. Continue towards Tinghir to explore the stunning Todra Gorge, a natural wonder with towering canyon walls reaching heights of up to 500 meters. After soaking in the beauty of the gorge, move on to Boumalne Dades, where you'll marvel at the breathtaking views of the Dades Valley and its dramatic rock formations. As you travel further, stop at Kalaat M’Gouna, the "Valley of Roses," celebrated for its annual Rose Festival in May. Visit a local rose cooperative to learn about the production of rose-based products before heading to the Skoura Oasis. Here, you'll explore the historic Kasbah Amridil, a 500-year-old treasure that showcases traditional Moroccan architecture. Day 3: Ouarzazate – Marrakech

Begin your day with a tour of Ouarzazate, renowned for its historic kasbahs. Visit the Kasbah Taourirt, a UNESCO World Heritage site, known for its striking architecture and rich history. This palace, one of the most beautiful in the region, is a perfect example of Moroccan design. Not far from the city, explore the famous Kasbah of Ouarzazate and stop by the Cinema Museum and film studios, where iconic international films like Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, Game of Thrones, and Babel were filmed. This is an exciting stop for movie enthusiasts and history lovers alike. Afterward, continue your journey and head 20 km to visit the legendary Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, another UNESCO World Heritage site, famed for its stunning architecture and history as a backdrop in numerous films. Following the visit, begin the scenic drive over the High Atlas Mountains, where you’ll be enchanted by dramatic landscapes and charming hidden Berber villages nestled in the foothills of immense valleys. (Optional: You may choose to have lunch at a local restaurant along the Tichka Pass before continuing to Marrakech.) Afterward, enjoy the remaining time in Marrakech, perhaps exploring the serene and colorful Majorelle Gardens before concluding your tour.
